RULES

Premi

  • Miglior film: premio assegnato al miglior cortometraggio del festival, senza limiti di genere.
  • Miglior film Horror/Fantasy/Scifi: categoria dedicata al cinema di genere horror, fantasy e fantascienza.
  • Miglior film toscano: premio al miglior cortometraggio realizzato in Toscana.
  • Premio speciale del pubblico: titolo assegnato dal pubblico durante le proiezioni. 
  • Premio FUFF, un premio speciale assegnato dal festival.

Regolamento

  1.  Ogni autore è responsabile del contenuto della propria opera.
  1. I film ammessi devono avere una durata tra i 3 e i 20 minuti, titoli di coda e testa inclusi, e devono essere stati realizzati dopo il 1 gennaio 2022.
  1. La selezione dei cortometraggi sarà a insindacabile giudizio dell’organizzazione del festival, e dovranno essere presentati attraverso la piattaforma Filmfreeway.
  1. Nella categoria horror/fantasy/scifi saranno ammessi cortometraggi con una spiccata affezione al genere.
  1. Per film toscano si intende un’opera realizzata sul territorio regionale.
  1. Ogni regista può partecipare con un massimo di due opere.
  1. Se i dialoghi del film non sono in italiano, è necessario fornire sottotitoli in italiano o inglese. In caso di selezione, è obbligatorio inviare il file .srt dei sottotitoli in inglese al festival.
  1. In caso di selezione, verrà richiesto tutto il materiale necessario per scopi di marketing, sottotitolaggio e proiezione. È obbligatorio fornire una copia per la proiezione in alta definizione tramite download digitale.
  1. Una volta selezionato, un film non può essere ritirato dal concorso.
  1. Il festival non si occuperà della spedizione di trofei e premi nel caso in cui i vincitori non siano presenti il giorno della premiazione.
  1.  Il festival non fornirà alcun compenso per la proiezione agli autori/distributori dei film selezionati.
  2. I premi saranno assegnati a insindacabile giudizio dalla giuria nominata dal Festival e dal pubblico presente per il premio dedicato.
  3. L’organizzazione del festival può decidere la categoria del film all’interno del festival in fase organizzativa.

Awards & Prizes

  • Best film: award given to the festival’s best short film regardless of genre.
  • Best Horror/Fantasy/Scifi Film: category dedicated to horror, fantasy and science fiction films.
  • Best Tuscan film: award given to the best short film produced in Tuscany.
  • The audience’s special award: title given by the audience during the film showings.
  • Fuff prize: a special prize awarded by the festival.

Rules & Terms

  1. Each author is responsible for the contents of their work.
  2. To be admitted to the festival, a film must last between 3 and 20 minutes, including the title sequence and credits. Moreover, the film in question must have been produced after the 1st of January 2022.
  3. The selection of the short films will be at the discretion of the festival’s organising committee. In addition, to be selected, each film will have to be submitted using the Filmfreeway platform.
  4. A film will be considered for the “Best Horror/Fantasy/SciFi” category only if it can be clearly associated with such genres.
  5. By “Tuscan Film”, we mean a film that was produced in its entirety in the Region of Tuscany.
  6. Every director can submit up to two works/productions.
  7. If the film’s dialogues aren’t in Italian, you will be required to add subtitles in English or Italian. Should your film be selected, you will have to send the .srt subtitle file to the Festival’s committee.
  8. In the event of selection, all the necessary material for marketing, subtitling and screening purposes will be requested. It is compulsory to provide a copy via digital download for a high-definition screening.
  9. Once selected, a film cannot be pulled out of the competition.
  10. The Festival’s organising committee will not see to shipping trophies and/or prizes should the winners not be present on the day of the awards ceremony.
  11. The Festival’s organising committee will not be offering any compensation whatsoever to the authors of the films selected for screening.
  12. Each prize will be awarded at the sole discretion of the jury nominated by the Festival’s organising committee and by the audience attending the prize-giving relevant to it.
  13. The Festival’s organising committee will reserve the right to assign a category to each film during the organisational phase of the festival.
